When you are confronted by a snake, you never pick up the serpent by the tail or it can bite you. The serpent (devil) always goes for our most vulnerable areas; (I.e. the heel.) The devil tries to bite your heel that means he fights you where you’re most vulnerable and grabs you from behind. His bite can make you walk with a limp. We have authority in Christ to kill the serpent by stomping on its head. Remember to go for the head and not the tail! Bind up the strong man first…and remember Paul shook the serpent off into the fire…
