I’ve been working hard on gardening and landscaping. The Lord has been teaching me things as I go. One thing I’ve noticed is there are thousands of rocks in the soil here. There were also many weeds instead of grass. I noticed that every time I pull up a weed, rocks were underneath it. I thought of the parable Jesus taught about the weeds and thorns being like the troubles or worries in life that choke life out of us, and the stones like stoney hard hearts beneath that allow the weeds to grow.
Weeds and rocks hurt the life of healthy plants! Jesus wants us to forgive and remove the stoney hard parts of our hearts and pluck out the weeds (worries) at the roots so they don’t grow back. I’m also learning that gardening is hard work. It requires great patience to do it properly, and I have been doubled over in back pain after several hours of working. Picking out thousands of rocks could seem laborious and dull, but Jesus is the great gardener who is patient and dilligent with our souls. He takes his time and thoroughly makes sure no stone is left unturned and all the weeds we allow to grow he plucks up (if we allow Him to be Lord and master in our lives) He is faithful to finish the good work he started in us patiently and lovingly preparing the soil of our souls for a more fruitful harvest!
When you are confronted by a snake, you never pick up the serpent by the tail or it can bite you. The serpent (devil) always goes for our most vulnerable areas; (I.e. the heel.) The devil tries to bite your heel that means he fights you where you’re most vulnerable and grabs you from behind. His bite can make you walk with a limp. We have authority in Christ to kill the serpent by stomping on its head. Remember to go for the head and not the tail! Bind up the strong man first…and remember Paul shook the serpent off into the fire…
Family Pic with Dad’s collection of Medieval Weaponry
Going through old family photos and I see these when I was small. My father collected arms and armor so I grew up looking at medieval weaponry! Apparently, I was born to be a warrior.
I think the most challenging thing about spiritual warfare is that when you come against demonic powers and principalities in the name of Jesus the enemy hates it. Therefore demonic spirits in people also hate you. Don’t be surprised when people hate you because you have Jesus living inside of you and all the demons hate the fact that you have authority over them.
Sometimes, I’ve had the most bizarre reactions from people that are completely out of left field. The Lord is showing me that those are usually the demons in them or un-crucified parts of flesh that don’t like the anointing and the conviction of the authority of Jesus that the Holy Spirit bring. So don’t take it personal when people hate you! If you haven’t done anything to warrant a nasty reaction it’s probably the spirit in them reacting to the spirit in you.
Yesterday and today I keep hearing “time’s up” in the spirit.
Many have been praying for justice and for God‘s judgments to come to pass when they see increased iniquity in the world. I have been discovering Luciferian agendas are real and child sacrifices are real. While God is slow to anger and desires that none will perish but everyone come to everlasting life, He is also a God of justice.
I feel like there have been many warnings to the people practicing wickedness in hidden places; offering innocent child sacrifice to their god Lucifer, but time is up.These people need to repent quickly because Justice is coming says the Lord.
Saints, keep praying for protection over whistle blowers, pray for truth to come to light, and for the evil of child sacrifice to be dealt a swift blow of justice. We cannot allow this evil to continue saints. We must take a stand!
Fear not! God has given us authority in Jesus name and dunamis power to overcome the works of the enemy. Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
Pray for exposure, justice and protection over innocent children and people sold into sex trafficking.
Recently I was meditating about when Jesus sparred with Satan in the wilderness for 40 days. Jesus was fasting and denying his flesh when Satan came to him and tempted him with promises of wealth and worldly power if Jesus would just submit to Satan. Jesus resisted all the temptations and passed all the tests that the enemy put in front of him.
I believe the Lord was showing me that as we pass the tests put in front of us by the enemy, we get stronger in the spirit. I believe the more tests we pass the more kingdom authority we are granted because we are getting closer to being made in Jesus‘s image.
This doesn’t mean we should be performance-based. Some of our tests are often done in the secret place. So that we cannot try to take the glory for ourselves and get puffed up with pride. Humility passes the test whereas pride comes before the fall.
Much like in an army, soldiers advance up the ranks to captains, lieutenants and generals with battles they win while protecting their troops.
What the enemy means for evil God will turn for good. Every trial and temptation that we overcome brings us closer to God…. but God is so patient and so kind. He says the righteous man falls seven times and gets back up. Perseverance matters.
Even when you mess up, and do what you didn’t want to do or didn’t do what you wanted to do, (like the apostle Paul;) quickly repent, confess your sins, dust yourself off and keep marching so the enemy doesn’t torment you with condemnation and keep you out of the battle.
The enemy does not play fair, he plays dirty and often gangs up on you when you’re alone, so do not forsake the gathering together of the fellowship of the saints. Pray, fast and get back up in the battle. If the enemy leaves a trap before you and you cannot see any way out call on the Lord God Almighty and he will make a way where there appears to be no way.
Even when you have messed up, if you sincerely repent and serve the Lord God with all your heart soul mind and strength he will turn everything that the enemy meant for evil into good.
When you seek to please your commander in Chief, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, he will honor you as you honor him.
Rise up church! Jesus gave us authority over every work of the devil and every demon. Luke 10:19 and Matthew 10:8. It is not by our might it is by the Holy Spirit that we have been given power and authority through Jesus’s shed blood. We have his resurrection power living inside of us for those who believe. I encourage you to take up the authority he has given you to come against all the works of darkness in our land in Jesus name.
Satan is under our feet as believers in Jesus. Do not be afraid of the enemy’s taunts… be like King David The shepherd boy who refused to back down when Goliath picked a fight with God’s kids. The enemy’s children are picking a fight with The Father in heaven’s kids today so we need to rise up with a lion’s roar, take our authority, rebuke the devourer and operate not in a spirit of fear, but of power love and sound mind.
This morning I kept hearing the verse about the “blind guides who strain out a gnat.” I believe this was when Jesus was referring to the Pharisees of His day who were blind to the Messiah right in front of them, but instead were hyper focused on their own religious works and judging one another. Then In John 12:42 it Says “Nevertheless, even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him less they should be put out of the synagogue for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.” Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me.“ Scripture also says “if you have seen Me you have seen the Father.”
Isn’t it interesting how in many churches we are taught to pray “Father if it be thy will” prayers; when we have the example of what Jesus did here on earth and we know that he did nothing apart from what the Father told him to do… Therefore if we look at Jesus’s example, we should know the will of the Father and pray boldly with the authority given us in the name of Jesus.Let’s not be like the Pharisees who love the praise of men more than the praise of God. Remember the Father sees what we do in secret and I believe it is what we do in secret with the Father that will reveal our fruit in public. “If you abide in me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit so you will be My disciples.“ John 15:7.
God does discipline his children whom he loves, but many Christians have been attributing the devil’s work and persecution as God‘s discipline. Rather than taking our stand and the authority God gave us to fight through Jesus via the Holy Spirit… We have been accepting abuse from the enemy for too long.
Some of us have had an idea that God is abusive. God is all powerful and he does have ultimate authority which is the meaning of sovereignty… But He does not take away our free will… if a person wants to keep sinning, they can. God gave them free will and they can make choices all the way to hell; even though it is His will that none should perish! If God took away free will, there would be no love. Love is a choice made freely…it is not forcing someone Into submission.
God does prune us, and sometimes cutting back can be painful…sometimes we feel discouraged or scared that we are losing too much. The gardener of our souls never prunes us to make us more barren, His pruning always produces more good fruit!
We are called to pray for, encourage, exhort and correct one another by speaking the truth in love. We do this to break off deception, take our stand and fight the good fight of faith. We are not supposed to give up under the enemy attack and accept it as God’s will or judgement. Jesus died for ALL SIN so we would not be under condemnation and judgement. We need to be praying for one another constantly; rebuking the devourer and doing good to one another when it is in our power to do so.
Christianity is not a passive walk, and we truly need discernment to check the fruit and not be deceived. Jesus warned us to remove the plank from our own eye before pointing out the speck in our neighbors eye, so be careful not to judge someone’s season of pruning as God’s punishment.
People have misconstrued and misapplied submission in many churches as well. The anti-Christ spirit seeks to control and manipulate. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! It is clear we are to submit to God, but we do not submit to the enemy or the enemy’s people. When people in leadership are in abuse of power with the wrong spirit, are we to submit to antichrist doctrines and systems? We are to pray for our leaders and stand our ground in the word. We are to submit to our Father in heaven and do His will on earth as it is in heaven. We must look at the fruit of what people produce, not necessarily the speech or manner they use in their fruit production. The bible warns us of false Christs and False Apostles/Prophets in the last days…that means wolves in sheep’s clothing in the church.
We must stay grounded in scripture with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We can’t take one scripture out of context and make it a doctrine. When you look through all of Scripture you see God‘s heart for us. The Father loves us so much that he sent his only son to redeem us from the curse to give us everlasting life to give us resurrection power! We have been commissioned to go out in the world and make disciples of men. A disciple does what their teacher does. We are called to heal the sick, raise the dead, take up serpents, and cast out devils! Instead, many of us we have been constantly struggling with infirmity, not able to get victory in our own walks. How can we be good witnesses of the Good News to the world around us if we aren’t walking in victory?
We need to be equipped for the fight saints! We need to wake up and stop believing the lies the enemy has sowed into the church causing us to believe that we are still powerless and helpless, always waiting on God for a breakthrough. Jesus said speak to the mountain and it will fall into the sea… He gave us the authority to speak to the mountain! He said “It is finished” when he died on the cross. His work is done and He is sitting at the right hand of the Father. He will come back for a spotless bride! it is our job to take the authority he gave us and walk in victory!
Personally, I have been in several severe traumatic accidents where the enemy tried to take me out, both of my parents are gone (my father was killed when I was 14 my mom died of cancer 20 years later,) I have battled chronic disease, fatigue and poverty from much of my life. My Christian marriage was destroyed through choices my ex-husband made, and we suffered from infertility for years before my husband abandoned me. I do not say this as a victim; I say this because I realize I was not standing my ground and fighting in faith on the word; decreeing with faith God‘s word over my symptoms and circumstances. I also didn’t have enough brothers and sisters fighting alongside me and decreeing the truth over me and my circumstances. I am grateful for the few who did and the Lord himself who has been a Father to the Fatherless and protected me. I have had many victories in life as well…many more weapons were formed and through prayer and standing on the word they did not prosper!
Since learning the truth in scripture that we have the authority to speak to our mountains, to decree things in faith according to the Word of God, and to not accept what the enemy sends as God’s will for us….I have had many more victories and much less fear of the enemy. We need each other saints…none of us are lone rangers….we must stay in the sheep fold with Jesus as our shepherd to protect us from wolves. We need to discern wolves who come into our pen as wolves in sheep’s clothing too. Look at the fruit (not the package) test the spirits…pray for discernment. See if what people say and do lines up with the heart of God…..sometimes things get messy and it’s hard to see the fruit. Watch and pray….the truth shall be revealed, and the truth shall set you free.
I keep hearing the word “Firebrands” In the spirit. I believe we are going to start seeing a lot of Holy Spirit Fire Starters! Prophetic word by Sonia Ann September 13, 2021
